Dyeing ALL THE YARN!

Woad dyeing

Dyeing with woad is really satisfying!

At the moment I probably do a big woad dye every three months, and the results (and over dyeing etc) keep me busy for a decent chunk of time afterwards. This lot will end up as about 5 other colours by the end of the next couple of weeks or so.

(Btw – all the woad I use it grown and processed in the UK. This always makes me really happy.)

In other news…

Woad dyeing

SO EXCITING! (I have a date with my spinning wheel in about a fortnight (once I’ve ushered a couple of big ongoing work projects out the door.) Hopefully I’ll have some in the shop before christmas.

Things I shouldn’t show you but will anyway…

Autumn Colours - Now in the Shop

My camera is broken.

However before my camera broke I took some great shots of my yarn.

Which I really shouldn’t show you, because not all of the yarn in them is in the shop yet.

Because my camera is broken so I can’t take the shots of them I need so that I can put them in the shop.

😐

Hopefully I can cobble a working camera together in the next few days and things will start moving again.

In the meantime I’m showing you anyway because they are beautiful. Look at all the yarn I’ve dyed!
